If you assigned a vehicle to a specific route, and you defined highway and city miles-per-gallon for that vehicle, then the routes created will give you an average miles per gallon estimate so that you would know how much fuel you would consume on this route.
If you modify the route in any way, such as adding, remove, or re-sequencing addresses, then the fuel metrics will update immediately after the driving directions are recomputed.
