Friends For Life
Friends For Life delivers food, medication, and other vital products and services to the HIV community members from eight counties in the Memphis metropolitan area. Last-mile delivery is an essential part of their services.
In the wake of the pandemic, they had to switch to a contactless delivery model.
As a result, they had to find a way to track what addresses have been visited and collect the proof of delivery information without requiring the clients’ signatures.
Route4me was just what we needed. An app that allows us to add notes, address, phone number, a selection for delivered and not delivered […].
Route4Me’s iOS and Android mobile apps enabled Friends For Life to track their drivers’ progress without expensive and elaborate GPS trackers or any additional hardware.
Plus, the apps are extremely user-friendly so that all drivers could use them without time-consuming training.
Volunteers could mark the serviced addresses as “Visited” (when they arrived at a stop) and “Departed” (after the address was serviced, and they left for the next one).
After addresses were marked, the changes could be automatically synced to the cloud, giving the fleet managers extra insights into the drivers’ progress.
[…] your team is very helpful. Whenever I click the chat button they are always ready to assist.
Route4Me’s support team is always promptly responding to customer inquiries and helps them make the most of the platform’s features – and the agency found this to be incredibly helpful.
With Route4Me’s iOS and Android mobile apps, Friends For Life were able to implement a contactless delivery operating model.
The mobile apps’ notes feature supports media file attachments – such as pictures, videos, and audio recordings – which can serve as proof that an address was actually visited.
Volunteer route planners and dispatchers found the platform to be “easy to navigate” thanks to its intuitive, user-friendly design and the close-to-zero learning curve.
Route4Me helped Friends For Life achieve their last mile objectives, keep track of their drivers’ progress in real-time, and collect proof of delivery information without customers’ hand-written signatures.
