How To Plan Routes In Just 30 Seconds

Dealing With Routes: Shave Hours Down To Seconds

Time is money. When you plan routes manually, it takes hours. In addition to figuring out the best directions for your drivers, you also need to account for traffic, weather, construction, customer availability, and other factors.

Planning Your Daily Delivery Schedule

Final mile delivery software takes those factors into account automatically. All you need to do is plug in the addresses of your customers and customize the settings to fit your specific situation. Then, your routes will be ready in 30 seconds or less.

And a route planning software can drastically cut short the time it takes to plan your daily delivery schedule. Not only do route planning systems lower mileage but they also help reduce fuel usage, improve asset utilization, and increase customer service. It also helps the surroundings through decreasing carbon emissions.

There Are Three Ways To Plan Routes With Route4Me

1. Using the Address Book

2. Syncing the Address Book

3. Using a Set of Orders

Using The Address Book

You can plan a route from your Address Book by simply checking the boxes next to the addresses you want to add to your route. After you’ve chosen your addresses, open the File tab and select Plan Route with Selected.

You can also plan a route from the address book map with the Territories feature. Select a shape for the territory, and then place it over all the addresses you want included in your route.

Syncing the Address Book

To sync your address book to the Route4Me iPhone app, go to the Enter Destinations screen on the app, select the More option, and click on Synced Address Book.

Check the boxes next to the addresses you want in your route, and then you’re good to go.
